…and welcome to \u201cGetting Started with Communication Engineering\u201d.<\/p>\n

This website was originally intended to host the material I’ve developed to help teach communication engineering to undergraduates, and to host on-line and downloadable demos, the chapters of the book as I write them, and the homepage of the network simulator DANSE. Since I started I’ve changed jobs and now teach mostly basic electronic concepts rather than specialist communications, so the scope of the site has increased somewhat.<\/p>\n

I\u2019ve chosen to start out by trying WordPress, since it\u2019s been recommended as \u201cnot just a blogging tool\u201d.\u00a0 I hope this will turn out to be a good decision; the last time I tried to create a website was back in the days when everyone wrote raw html.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
