…and welcome to “Getting Started with Communication Engineering”.
This website was originally intended to host the material I’ve developed to help teach communication engineering to undergraduates, and to host on-line and downloadable demos, the chapters of the book as I write them, and the homepage of the network simulator DANSE. Since I started I’ve changed jobs and now teach mostly basic electronic concepts rather than specialist communications, so the scope of the site has increased somewhat.
I’ve chosen to start out by trying WordPress, since it’s been recommended as “not just a blogging tool”. I hope this will turn out to be a good decision; the last time I tried to create a website was back in the days when everyone wrote raw html.
